About Minuto

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Minuto lets an expert share one link and get paid for the advice they already give away.

The problem we set out to solve

In India, expert advice mostly happens for free on WhatsApp. A CA answers a GST notice question at 10pm. A lawyer explains a rent clause to a friend of a friend. An astrologer, a vet, a tutor, a career coach — all fielding quick questions with no clear way to charge for them.

Charging for a short consultation is awkward. Invoicing for fifteen minutes is not worth the effort. Asking someone to pay before they have spoken to you feels like a barrier, and often they simply do not. So the advice stays free and the expert's time keeps leaking away.

Minuto exists to remove that awkwardness. The client tries you first, for free. If they want more of your time, they pay for it in one tap — and the conversation carries on without either of you having to talk about money.

How it works

  1. The expert shares one link. On WhatsApp, Instagram, a business card, an email signature — anywhere.
  2. The client taps "Call Now". An audio call starts in the browser. No app to install, no appointment to book, no payment details to enter.
  3. The first minutes are free, with a countdown both people can see. The expert chooses how many.
  4. At 0:00 the call pauses. Nobody is cut off mid-sentence — the audio just stops.
  5. The client pays to continue, in blocks of 15, 30 or 60 minutes, via UPI or another Razorpay method. One tap.
  6. The call resumes. Repeat as needed. Either side can end the call at any point.

Money reaches the expert's Minuto wallet as soon as the paid call completes. They request a payout to their UPI ID whenever they like.

Who it is for

Anyone whose product is their advice, delivered by voice: chartered accountants and tax consultants, advocates, astrologers, doctors and counsellors, veterinarians, financial advisers, tutors, career and business coaches, and technical support specialists.

And anyone on the other side of that call who wants a straight answer from a real person now — not a form, not a chatbot, not a three-day wait for a callback.

What we charge

No monthly fee. No listing fee. Minuto takes 10% commission on completed paid calls, plus applicable taxes. Founding experts pay 0% for their first 90 days. Experts set their own rates and their own free-minute allowance. Clients pay only what the expert has posted, and only after the free minutes have run out.

What Minuto is not

Minuto is a technology and payments platform. We are not a law firm, a medical practice, an accountancy firm, a SEBI-registered adviser, or any other kind of professional services provider. We do not give advice and we do not verify whether the advice an expert gives is correct. Experts are independent professionals, solely responsible for what they say and for holding the registrations their profession requires. Where a category is regulated, experts self-certify their registration with us.

How we think about privacy

Calls are not recorded. Nobody at Minuto listens in. We store what billing and support genuinely need — who spoke to whom, for how long, and what was paid — and nothing more. Payment credentials go straight to Razorpay and never touch our servers. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Built for India

Prices in rupees. Payments over UPI. Calls that work on an ordinary mobile browser and an ordinary mobile connection. Payouts to a UPI ID, not a complicated settlement account.
